    A Glove of Many Colors: The Ins and Outs of Nitrile Gloves

    Nitrile gloves come in many colors, but hue doesn’t affect strength or resistance. Industrial types suit conservation work best, thickness improves chemical resistance (not puncture strength), and double-gloving helps spot tears. Watch for allergies from dyes or accelerants, and remember—acetone is their kryptonite.
