With over 30 years of experience and commitment to the highest standards and ethics of conservation of cultural heritage, Luis Seixas is a specialist conservator of objects and sculpture, working for private collections and institutions in the US, Europe, and China, including for several UNESCO sites.
Degree in conservation and restoration from the Universidade Nova, Lisbon, in polychrome sculpture, Luis has gathered a vast experience on a myriad of objects and materials including bronzes, metals, terracotta, ivory, stone, outdoor and indoor sculpture.
He also offers advice on preventive conservation of collections, is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation and lectures regularly on conservation at the University of Tampa, Eckerd College and at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
