Marianne Kelsey has over 20 years of experience in the conservation field. She is the Director & Senior Conservator of Kelsey Conservation, a full-service paper conservation studio based in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has served as a staff member at the University of Conservation Lab, the State Historical Society of Iowa and Etherington Conservation Services. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors as SERCA’s Communications Coordinator.

In her Greensboro, North Carolina-based conservation lab, Marianne treats works of art on paper including pastels, watercolors, acrylics, gouache, as well as printed artworks such as lithographs, mezzotint, aquatint, serigraphs, engravings, and woodblock prints. Kelsey also conserves historical documents, vellum & parchment manuscripts and bound materials such as rare books and bound family heirlooms including bibles.
