Independent paper conservator and restorer based in Puerto Rico.
From 2012 to 2019 I served as the paper conservator of the Museo de Arte de Ponce. Since 2019, and as an independent contractor, I have been serving as Project Paper Conservator in several institutions: Archivo General de Puerto Rico; Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico; School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico,among others.

Paper conservator and restorer with over 15 years of international experience in conservation, restoration, and preventive care of works on paper. Skilled in treatment, mounting, framing, condition reporting, and digitization projects. Experienced leading fellows and interns, managing grants, and training professionals in emergency response. Active member of AIC, IIC, MAC, and IADA.
From 2012 to 2019 I served as the paper conservator of the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico. Since 2019, and as an independent contractor, I have been serving as Project Paper Conservator in several institutions: Archivo General de Puerto Rico, September 12, 2020- June 30, 2025 (Mellon Foundation grant), for treatments and stabilization of archival material, books and maps for digitization, as well as guidance for rehousing and handling protocols; Archivo General de Puerto Rico, January 3 – June 30, 2022 (NEH grant), for treatments and stabilization of books for digitization; Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, October-December 2021, restoration and conservation of eighteen artworks on paper, for the exhibition “El Poder Expresivo…”; Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, November 21, 2019- April 30, 2021 (Bank of America grant), condition reports and treatments of artworks on paper;School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico. December 2019 – March 2021 (NEH grant), Rare Books General Condition Assessment; and July 1st, 2025- present (Sherman Fairchild Foundation grant), condition assessment of works of art on paper.
